Elf Post
Student companies of Lutheran High School in Tisovec organize a Christmas Post every single year. Therefore the student company EGaTe has prepared for the students the Christmas Post as well but with some news. For this year, we have decided to post Christmas Cards not asking angels or St. Nicholas for a help but using the Elf Service of Christmasland on the North Pole.
They have agreed and the elves actually come to Tisovec even they are one day late due to not snowing. They have stayed at EGT for two days - December 16 - 17, 2009. On Wednesday they sell cards and small presents and on Thursday they post those Christmas messages to addressees. There has been a possibility to have a message sung by the elves or to become an official member of the Club of the Elves from the North Pole. Since there is a huge demand for Elf Service, the elves leave content and happy because they can say to Santa Claus that Christmas and the atmosphere are already in Tisovec.

Škriatkovská pošta
Každý rok študentské spoločnosti Evanjelického gymnázia v Tisovci organizujú vianočnú poštu. Preto aj tohtoročná študentská spoločnosť EGaTe pripravila vianočnú poštu avšak s niekoľkými inovatívnymi námetmi. Pre tento rok sme sa rozhodli rozdávať poštu nie prostredníctvom anjelov či Mikuláša, ale požiadali sme škriatkov z Vianočníc na Severnom póle, aby prišla škriatkovská pošta aj na EGT.
Škriatkovia dorazili do Tisovca s jednodňovým omeškaním, keďže sneh napadol až v stredu. V Tisovci sa škriatkovia zdržali dva dni, 16. a 17. novembra 2009. V stredu poštu predávali a vo štvrtok ju adresátom doručovali spolu s malými darčekmi a niektorým študentom vianočný odkaz aj zaspievali. Taktiež sa niektorí študenti mohli stať oficiálnymi členmi Klubu škriatkov Severného pólu. Keďže bol o vianočnú poštu veľký záujem, škriatkovia odišli veľmi spokojní a šťastní, že Santa Clausovi môžu povedať, že Vianoce a vianočná atmosféra sú už aj v Tisovci.
